Hi, I’m Katerina and I’m a full-time observer with Over two decades of experience, working both internationally and in intimate settings.

Most of my adult life I’ve spent expressing myself through photography, which is not only an incredible medium for expression, but also a powerful tool for introspection and exploration. I enjoy writing and drawing too, but that’s another story you’ll get to explore on this website.

Photography is an incredibly powerful tool that connects us on various levels and has allowed me to become a better observer of the world around me. My work is not separate from who I am, it is part of life as much as anything else.

Photography brings people together; it makes us less like strangers to one another as we share the memories on both sides of the camera.

I would describe my style as documentary with a pinch of cinematic influence. I don’t have a specific niche, I draw inspiration from life itself. I’m inspired every time life unfolds a story behind a person, whether that story expresses itself through a brand, a wedding, a space, or a building. Basically, I document everything that tells a coherent story.

I have a nomadic inner life, I wonder and I wander.

The story is there long before the camera lifts, my role is simply to notice.

What I focus on, what I choose to honor with my attention, becomes part of my life.

Every frame I witness shapes the way I move through the world.

Because the story is always part of a bigger picture, and everything we photograph eventually becomes more than just an image, it becomes memory, meaning, evidence of who we were and how we lived.

And even if the story is not about me, it still becomes a part of my journey.

I maintained an active website for many years until I eventually lost my .com domain due to a security breach. I genuinely enjoyed the process, and now I’m looking forward to returning to a more structured form of blogging in 2026. I miss, and have missed, having many photos that I love, sharing them all, and writing a little insight about each experience.

Writing, sketching, and sharing my creative work have always been integral parts of my practice, and this space allows me to bring them together in a cohesive and intentional way.

My style is cinematic, detailed, and natural.

I primarily photograph weddings about 10 per year and I also love portrait sessions.

Most of my two decades work has been focused on documenting through photography.

I photograph events, communities, and businesses that want a coherent visual story. I travel frequently, so I enjoy capturing moments outside of pre-set frames, such as city breaks with couples or individuals seeking a unique experience.

I have collaborated with bloggers, public figures, and clients who need content for social media.
